I had a life-changing opportunity to meet with a functional medicine practitioner like Dr. Libert several years ago! I was so impressed with the physical, mental and emotional changes I experienced that I wanted to learn how to help other people successfully achieve their own wellness. I studied coaching for the past two years and passed the national board exam certifying me as a health and wellness coach. That’s why I now have the pleasure of working with Dr. Libert. As I have gotten to know her, I realize that she treats others with respect and fairness, she is kind and honest, and she leads by example. I truly desired to be part of a medical team that focuses on the whole person, values where they are in their life’s journey, and assists them by educating and empowering them to make decisions and be the creators of their own health.
In the past I’ve been a theology teacher at a Catholic high school (and coached golf and volleyball), a youth minister and business administrator of a growing suburban parish, a fund-raising consultant, and a director of a telemedicine project. Changing it up is nothing new to me, and it’s great for the brain to have variety and challenge! I see all my previous work as building blocks to the place I am today.
I earned a BS in Business from Georgetown University in Washington, DC. I have two Masters degrees – one in Spirituality and Health Studies and one in Theology. I have always enjoyed learning. I enjoy golf, dance, outdoor activities, exercise and fitness, cooking, decorating, photography and listening to all genres of music. In addition to my husband and three adult children, we have a new addition to the family, Hilde. She is a Nederlandse Kooikerhondje puppy named after Saint Hildegard von Bingen.
I look forward to connecting with you!
